With huge thanks to our supporters we have been able to support the training of a new canine hero. His name is Rogue and he will become a crucial member of an anti-poaching dog team based at Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary in Tanzania, home to a small and highly protected population of rhino.
We are now working on raising funds to supply essential and specialist first aid supplied for both dogs and their amazing handlers in the field. These are essential for day to day use with minor issues than can occur in the African bush. They are also crucial to have to hand should more serious injuries to the rangers and dogs occur in the line of duty.
Luckily, there have been no successful poaching attempts; such is the effectiveness of this growing team. They are one powerful deterrent that is for sure!
